Agriculture With the global agriculture market growing by demand and volume, the sector is projected to increase by billions of dollars annually. Global market demand for crop production, farming activities, packaging, distribution channels, and trade volumes are increasing to meet the needs of the growing population. India today is a food-surplus nation that focus on export- oriented country business in the sector and is on the course to become the “Food basket of the world”. The abundant natural assets and resources such as topography, the rich biodiversity, forest cover and fertile land offers an ideal opportunity for developing India as a global agro-processing hub. Charter flight is being arranged from Delhi to Dimapur and vice versa for onward (04 April 2023) and return journey (06 April 2023) of delegates. Road transportation will be provided from Dimapur to Kohima. Delegates who would like to avail charter flight are requested to arrive in Delhi on 03 April 2023.

Delegates who would not require charter flight may kindly plan to reach directly to Kohima by forenoon on 04 April 2023.

The immigration process will be completed at the first port of entry (International Airport) in India for all delegates. A dedicated lane for immigration is available for all delegates with Diplomatic/official passports.

The G20 Secretariat will provide local transportation service to and from the Dimapur Airport for delegates attending the Business-20 Meeting. Upon arrival at Dimapur airport, delegates will be received by the welcome team of the G20 Secretariat who will usher them to the Lounge and extend necessary assistance to reach their respective hotels.

Accommodation of delegates will be arranged at Hotel Vivor / Hotel De Oriental Grand / Hotel Japfu at Kohima.

Kisama Village: Kisama is located 12km from Kohima. The gentle slope at the base of a steep mountain peak is the venue for the famed Hornbill Festival. The Heritage Villages is designed in the form of an ancient Naga village to give an authentic feel of a true Naga village and the experience of traveling back in time. The Heritage Village houses the morungs of all the tribes and ethnic groups of Nagaland.

Kohima War Cemetery: Kohima War Cemetery is in the heart of Kohima, the capital city of Nagaland. Kohima War Cemetery is a memorial dedicated to soldiers of the 2nd British Division of the Allied Forces who died in the Second World War at Kohima, in April 1944. There are 1,420 Commonwealth burials at this cemetery, and a memorial to an additional 917 Hindu and Sikh soldiers who were cremated in accordance with their faith.
